Effective Black Parenting (EBP)

Effective Black Parenting (EBP) is a parenting skill-building program created by Center for the Improvement of Child Caring (CICC) specifically for parents of African American children ages 0- 19. EBPP is the premier program in helping to Raise Proud, Respectful, Confident and Healthy African
American Children.

The goals of the CICC’s Effective Black Parenting Program (EBPP) include:
• Promote cultural pride
• Reduce parental stress
• Improve child behavior and performance
• Strengthen family cohesion & communication
• Cope better with racism and prejudice

This seminar is being presented by Life-Skills, Empowerment, And Development Services (LEADS) Florida, Inc. in partnership with Next STEPP Center – Services to Those Experiencing Pregnancy or Parenting.
